HPC.nrw First Steps

Welcome to the HPC.nrw project.

Currently, the communication and working resources are being transferred from the second to the third phase of funding.

Resources with the prefix APx- (where ‘x’ corresponds to the work package number) are already prepared for the 3rd > funding > phase.

Resources with the prefix ag- are from the second funding phase and still need to be integrated or archived.

Communication Infrastructure

The following communication channels are used in HPC.nrw.

Sciebo Project Box

HPC.nrw Project-relevant documents are stored in the HPC.nrw project box in the Sciebo Cloud. To access you need a valid Sciebo account from your institution. Send the name of your account to office@hpc.nrw.

What can be found there:

• Logos, templates, etc.
• Presentation materials
• Funding applications of HPC.nrw
• Files and folders of the work packages (WPs): There are top-level folders for each work package, with subfolders for the corresponding tasks.

Matrix / Element

• A Matrix space (optional):

  • After invitation to the HPC.nrw space, the rooms listed below will be visible.

• Note: While there are many different Matrix clients, the experience with the Element client from Matrix.org has been the best so far.
